MR. BILL HAS BEEN GETTING DESTROYED SINCE 1976. HE'S STILL GOING.

Mr. Bill — the small Play-Doh SNL character who spent the late 70s being squashed, dismembered, and annihilated by Sluggo — is still alive. Still making new episodes every Saturday on YouTube. The contact email is sluggo@mrbill.com. Everything tries to destroy Mr. Bill. Nothing has worked yet.

Oh noooo! (He's fine.)

In 1976, a man named Walter Williams sent a home movie to Saturday Night Live.

It was a clay animation film about a small, naive Play-Doh figure named Mr. Bill — cheerful, good-natured, endlessly optimistic — and his encounters with Sluggo, a more aggressive lump of clay who existed primarily to ruin Mr. Bill's day. What followed was a series of elaborate, escalating disasters: Mr. Bill being flattened, stretched, torn apart, run over, exploded, dismembered, and destroyed in increasingly creative ways, all while screaming his signature cry — "Oh noooo!" — in a tiny, helpless voice.

SNL aired the Mr. Bill sketches for five years. They became some of the most beloved segments in the show's history. Then, as these things do, they ended.

Except Mr. Bill didn't.

Walter Williams kept going. Mr. Bill appeared in commercials, in specials, in various formats across four decades. And now, in 2026, Mr. Bill has a weekly YouTube show — Mr. Bill's Saturday Night Matinee, airing every Saturday at 10:30 Central — with new episodes, new disasters, and Sluggo, still reliably terrible.

The website is mrbill.com. It has animated GIFs. It is exactly what you'd expect from a website for a 50-year-old clay figure.

The contact email is sluggo@mrbill.com.

Everything has tried to destroy Mr. Bill. Fifty years of everything. None of it has worked.
